AMD's newest processor details revealed

Advanced Micro Devices or AMD which is one of the leading processor vendors disclose details of its latest processors. Prosesos amounted to two units that implement the core x86 processor. The advantage of these core includes a high performance, multi-threaded computing, and low enough power consumption. Both AMD's latest processors are named Bulldozer and Bobcat.


Bulldozer and Bobcat will not run simultaneously. It is because the new processor has a second place respectively. Bulldozer will be allocated on the server market that requires a PC with high performance. While Bobcat for energy-efficient notebooks and desktops that have circulated in the market.

"The existence of this new processor we hope to give our customers a new wave in the form of a PC and experience innovative high performance computing," said Chekib Akrout, senior vice president and general manager of AMD, as quoted from itnewsonline.com.
