Follow Twitter without having to have an account

Twitter has just introduced a new feature that is "Fast Follow" which can make it easier to follow someone via SMS, even if users did not have a twitter account, but unfortunately this feature is only valid in the U.S..





To use it, users can simply type in "follow [username] to have a twitter shortcode ie 40 404. And from there, users will receive any status updates via text message. Twitter seems to imagine that the feature" Fast Follow "is the best way to advertise Twitter. Just imagine if every restaurant or store them ask their customers to follow the Twitter hers, and that ad or a billboard mounted on the TV so you can imagine how lucky twitter.
