Again, Fake Antivirus Microsoft for Firefox users
The company IT security and data protection, Sophos has released a warning relating to fake antivirus attack. This attack is hiding as a Microsoft security updates and deceive users to install malicious software. Users affected by this virus will see a replica of Microsoft's security updates page, but there is little difference. The update only works in Firefox, while Microsoft's update site actually asks the user to use Internet Explorer.
Arguably, these fake antivirus attack has become a professional, and can be more convincing users. Next time, when users see the Microsoft update notification while using Firefox, be careful.
